It´s not Berlin, Munich or Hamburg... It´s the Ruhr Valley Area, traditionally recognised as the home and creative hub of artists in Germany. With hundreds of theatres and music clubs, this area has a unique and ever-growing pool of top-quality actors, musicians and voice artists. Creative Sounds Germany is strategically based in this area which is conveniently in the middle of Germany and boasts a significantly more diverse and densely populous catchment area than any of the other major cities in Germany. We have been active in the audio, film and music industry for over 25 years and as well as providing numerous translations and dubbings for all the major global and regional content players, we have also produced several gold and platinum music and film scores.
VOICE TALENTS & CASTING
How to find the most suitable voice for a production? What emotions should it evoke? ... Our directors and producers have a faultless ear in finding the perfect voice to achieve the best performance for productions of the highest standard. We have a database of hundreds of voice talents, but in the search for fresh, invigorating and unspent voices, we are committed to identify and establish new talents in cooperation with theatres and drama schools. Our voice actors make your production sound great... unique, fresh and special!
TRANSLATION
Translating a film dialogue, a documentary or writing an audio description is a creative process. Whether a Kids series or action movie, they all have specific requirements. In order to provide the best possible and authentic translation for your project our team of dedicated translators all specialise in their own field of expertise. This is a bespoke translation service including for example verified terminology for documentaries and contemporary language where applicable.
RECORDING
We operate 7 studios in total, 5 recording studios and 2 mixing studios. All studios are custom built, designed and acoustically adapted to provide a neutral sound. We can do everything necessary to place the voice in a suitable environment in the mixing phase. All studios are equipped with cutting edge technology and styled to provide the perfect environment for a creative and „home feeling“ recording process.
MIXING
The mixing phase - make a great performance sound great, achieve the called for feedback, special effects, balance, you name it. At Creative Sounds Germany we mix in 2.0, 2.1, 5.1, and can now even offer you mixing in Dolby Atmos in compliance with the latest industry standards. Our ATC and APS monitor systems guarantee perfect control of sound and our engineers have many years of experience in mixing for the film industry. We mix for all variations of distribution formats. For example, traditional TV broadcast, VOD (Video On Demand), OTT (Over the Top Television), BlueRay, DVD, or streaming.
DUBBING & VOICE OVER
Creative Sounds Germany provides the ideal voices for every conceivable project. We have a comprehensive database of voice actors, so we are guaranteed to match the sound and feel of the original actors in your production. We can assist you with productions in German, French, Spanish, Dutch and Scandinavian languages. In addition, we have a large pool of directors, producers, cutters and translators, each with their own expertise. We dub movies, series, live action, documentaries, corporate films, games, commercials, and provide audio description and subtitling.
SECURITY
At Creative Sounds Germany we take data security very seriously.! Decentralised recording on servers and the highest industry level security standards at our facility guarantees your data stays where it belongs. For fast, reliable, and secure file sharing and data exchange we use IBM Aspera. As expected, our studios are also fitted with the latest fire and break in alarm systems as well as 24-hour CCTV surveillance.
